Los habitantes se encuentran en pánico ya que los muertos han salido de sus tumbas , revivieron, nadie sabe el porque aunque se deduce que puede ser por culpa del humano que ha hecho tantas atrocidades en su territorio que hicieron que esto pase, la única comunicación entre los sobrevivientes es una radio clandestina , de las redes sociales e Internet se ha llegado a una única manera de comunicación, las puertas y las ventanas de los habitantes deben estar bloqueadas con tablas para que no ingresen los “muertos vivos” . En las calles se encuentra el pánico, al comienzo nadie lo nota pero luego llega la desesperación . La película sucede en diferentes días y lugares, una especie de diario aterrador , donde nadie se salvara , “vivan los muertos “ muestra el terror en estado puro.​
